Lot 845. 3 Photos of Detroit Tigers Hopefuls -Tom Fletcher and Les Filkens. Fletcher, a pitcher, made it to the Tigers for two innings in 1962. Filkens, an outfielder, did not. A 1962 UPI wire photo pictures Fletcher as a U. of Illinois sophomore who had just signed with Detroit for a $50,000-$65,000 bonus. Vg+ to ex. Filkens is shown in two 1975 Detroit Daily News photos.
