Lot 242. Derek Jeter Framed 2000 Starline Poster with 2 Images of the Yankees’ HoF Star. Presenting two large images of Jeter, this colorful vg+ to ex poster is in a 25.5” x 37.5” black composite frame, which is ex-m. The plastic over the poster has a scratch in the lower right and several small, light scratches. The poster displays nicely. The New York Yankees shortstop was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2020, his first year of eligibility. He was only one vote short, with 99.7 percent of the vote, of becoming only the second individual unanimously elected. Jeter concluded his MLB career with 3,465 hits and a .310 batting average. He was the 1996 AL Rookie of the Year, a 14-time All-Star and earned five Gold Glove and Silver Slugger Awards. The Yankees’ captain from 2003-14, he helped the team to win five World Series. He received the Hank Aaron Award twice and the Roberto Clemente Award once. Minimum Bid $15.
