 Lot 231. Pro Wrestling HoF 2002 Inaugural Induction Ceremonies Poster Signed by 16. This 18” x 20” poster, with a 12.25” x 15.75” b&w photo, has the bold signatures, nm-m 8 and better, of Bill Robinson, David Hart Smith, Rocky Johnson, Stan Hansen (signed twice), Mil Mascaras, Bill Eadie (signed his wrestling names “Ax Demolition,” “Bolo Mongol” and “Super *”), “Bee” Brian Blair, Tony Atlas, Paul Orndorff, Domenic DeNucci, Jimmy Valiant, Jimmy Snuka and Marl Lewin. Pencil notations on the poster’s blank bank provide information on when these wrestlers signed. The poster has slightly stubbed or creased corners; otherwise, it displays as nm. Robinson, Hansen, Mascaras, Ax Demoition, Orndorff, DeNucci and Snuka are all Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame inductees.

 Lot 232. Gorilla Monsoon Autographed 8” x 10” Color Photo. Known to family and friends as either Bob or Gino (Robert James) Marella, Monsoon was a super-heavyweight wrestling star who engaged in memorable matches with champion Bruno Sammartino. After he retired, he became the voice of the World Wrestling Federation. He is in the WWF Hall of Fame. Monsoon passed away in 1999 at the age of 62. His autograph is nm-m 8 to mint 9 and authenticated by Kevin Keating.

 Lot 233. Bruno Sammartino Autographed 8” x 10” B&W Photo. Based in Pittsburgh, Sammartino was a fan favorite. He is best known for being the longest-running champion of the World Wide Wrestling Federation (WWWF). He held the title for more than 11 years over two different reigns. He also held the World Heavyweight Championship longer than any other wrestler. His rivals included Killer Kowalski, Dr. Bill Miller, Waldo von Erich, The Sheik, Tarzan Tyler, Gorilla Monsoon, George “The Animal” Steele and Larry Zbyszko. His autograph, authenticated by Kevin Keating, is gem mint 10.

 Lot 234. Ivan Putski Autograph on a 12” x 18” Poster with His Image. Known as “The Polish Hammer,” Putski was inducted into the World Wrestling Federation Hall of Fame in 1995. With Tito Santana, he won the WWF World Tag Team Championship in 1979. During his career, he faced Billy Graham, the Iron Sheik, Jesse Ventura and Roddy Piper. His autograph is large and gem mint 10 on a poster from a 2008 event in Amsterdam, NY. Authenticated by Kevin Keating.

 Lot 235. David Schultz (“Dr. D”) Autographed 12” x 18” Color Poster. Schultz is the featured wrestler in the poster, which also has photos of the Link and J. J. Dillon. His autograph, authenticated by Kevin Keating, is mint 9. Schultz was a star of the North American regional wrestling circuit. He held various titles in the U.S. and Canada. In 1984, he briefly joined the World Wrestling Federation. He has been honored (but not inducted) by the Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame.
