Lot 310. Photos with the Washington Capitals and Bullets, Atlanta Hawks, Golf and Tennis. Each silver gelatin photo is 16” x 20”, printed relatively recently from a vintage negative. Two have hockey images, two more show basketball action, and one each represents golf and tennis. Four are black & white. One hockey photo captures the action after the Capitals have just scored in a 1978-80 game. Greg Polis and Robert Picard are among the players pictured. Game action from an earlier time is the subject of the earlier hockey photo. Both basketball photos show players taking shots in a Washington-Atlanta game. Bob Dandridge (Bullets, 1978-81) and John Drew (Hawks, 1975-82) are among the players. An unidentified woman golfer tees off in the fifth photo. In the sixth, a sepia example, young women play tennis on the lawn. These photos average ex-m+.
