Lot 124.  Don Drysdale Mint 9 Autograph on a Mint ONL Feeney Baseball. An eight-time All-Star, Drysdale earned the Cy Young Award in 1962. One of baseball’s most intimidating pitchers, he helped the LA Dodgers to win three world championships. Drysdale was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1984. He died in 1993. The autograph, authenticated by Kevin Keating, is a beauty on the sweet spot.

Lot 125.  Nelson Fox Autographed 8” x 10” B&W Glossy Photo (White Sox). Nm 7 to nm-m 8 autograph on a g-vg photo. The Hall of Fame second baseman died in 1975. His election to the Hall of Fame came 22 years later. Authenticated by Kevin Keating.

Lot 126.  Reggie Jackson Autographed Louisville Slugger 34” R161 Bat. Mint 9 autograph authenticated by Kevin Keating. Mint bat. “Mr. October,” thirteenth on the all-time home run list, entered the Hall of Fame in 1993.

Lot 127.  Sandy Koufax Single-Signed ONL Charles Feeney Baseball. Koufax autographed the sweet spot. His signature is strong, nm-m 8 to mint 9. The ball is unevenly toned, white to off-white with strong printed areas. A thin line of discoloration crosses “Koufax.” Authenticated by Kevin Keating.

Lot 128.  Sal Maglie Mint 9 Autograph on the Sweet Spot of a Mint ONL Feeney Baseball. Maglie was known as “the Barber” because of the close shaves he gave batters. While playing for the Brooklyn Dodgers, he influenced the pitching style of Don Drysdale. Maglie was already 28 when he pitched his first game in the majors. Then his missed four seasons because of misadventures in the Mexican League. He was 33 when he returned to the majors. A two-time All-Star, he won 18 games twice and 23 in 1951. He was second in the Cy Young balloting in 1956. For his career, he posted almost twice as many wins, including a no-hitter, as losses and a 3.15 ERA. He was the opposing pitcher when Don Larsen hurled his perfect game in the 1956 World Series. He died in 1992. Two other signatures are on the ball: Cal Abrams and Carl Furillo signed the east panel. Lot 129.  Satchel Paige Autograph Authenticated by Kevin Keating and JSA Authentication on an 8" x 10" Photo. Mint 9 autograph on a b&w photo of Paige as a member of the St. Louis Browns. Paige played for the Browns from 1951-53. At the close of the 20th century, “The Sporting News” rated only Walter Johnson, Christy Mathewson, Grover Alexander and Cy Young as better pitchers than Paige. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1971 and passed away in 1982. The photo is matted and framed without glass to 11.5” x 14.5”. The JSA Auction Letter of Authenticity may be exchanged for a full LoA at a discount.

Lot 131.  Frank Robinson Signed Autobiography “Extra Innings.” Mint 9 to gem mint 10 autograph on the title page of the 1988 hardback, which is nm in an ex dust jacket. Robinson became major league baseball’s first black manager in 1975. He is ninth on its all-time home run list and 20th on its RBI list. Authenticated by Kevin Keating.

Lot 132.  Pete Rose Autographed Adirondack P302 Big Stick 34” Model. Unimprovable gem mint 10 signature by baseball’s all-time hit leader on a mint Pete Rose Personal Model bat. Authenticated by Kevin Keating.

Lot 133.  Pete Rose Autographed Mitchell & Ness Cooperstown Collection Jersey. Rose placed a huge, bold nm-m 8 to mint 9 autograph on the front of the Cincinnati Reds home jersey and added “Hit King #4256.” He retired with 4,256 career hits, and his closest active competitor trails him by more than 900 hits. An All-Star 17 times, he helped his teams to win three World Series championships, won three N.L. batting titles and earned the 1973 N.L. MVP award. “The Sporting News” ranked his the 25th best baseball player of the 20th century, and ESPN selected him as the 56th best athlete. The size L jersey has Rose’s No. 14 on the front and back. The 1976 National League Centennial patch is on the right sleeve. Authenticated by Kevin Keating. Mint.

Lot 134.  Nolan Ryan Autographed Texas Rangers 1989 Jersey by Rawlings. Ryan placed an nm-m 8 autograph on the front of the mint size 44 jersey, which has his name on the back and number on the front and back. A tag in the tail has “34 1 1989” on it, while a second tag says “1 Inch Extra Length.” The signature, which shows light bleeding, is large and strong. Kevin Keating authenticated it.

Lot 135.  Signed Copy of Mike Schmidt’s Book on His Life In Baseball – “Always on the Offense.” Large nm-m 8 autograph on the title page of the 1982 stated first edition hardback. Nm book and ex dust jacket. Authenticated by Kevin Keating.

Lot 136.  Gene Mack Drawing Signed by Hank Greenberg, Bill Veeck, Lou Boudreau, Bob Feller. The autographs are nm-m 8 or mint 9 on Mack’s 5.75” x 8.25” Cleveland Municipal Stadium drawing, which was taken from a magazine. When the Indians won the World Series in 1948, Veeck was their owner and president, Greenberg was a team official in charge of the farm system, Boudreau was the manager and Feller won 19 regular-season games. All of these signers are deceased. Authenticated by Kevin Keating.

Lot 137.  15 Signed HoF Gold Plaque Postcards – Barlick, Chandler, Dandridge, Doerr, Snider, Etc. Nice dealer or collector lot with excellent potential break-up value. Kevin Keating authenticated the signatures: Al Barlick, Lou Boudreau, A B Chandler (3 cards), Ray Dandridge, Bob Doerr (4), Bob Feller, Chas. Gehringer, Enos Slaughter and Duke Snider (2). All of the cards were signed on the front by these deceased Hall of Fame members. The signatures are generally nm-m 8 or better. The Barlick and Boudreau signatures show some skipping; all letters are fully present. One Chandler autograph is slightly smudged, and so is the “er” in “Slaughter.” Otherwise, the autographs are strong and bold. Authenticated by Kevin Keating.

Lot 138.  70 1940s Baseball Player Autographs Including DiMaggio and Other HoFers. The signatures are on the pages of a 1940s autograph book. Most pages have multiple autographs, while some have one or two. Here is a list of the signatures. We have indicated individual autographs with an asterisk (*).
