He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1971 and died the following year. His autograph is mint 9 on a page that pictures him and four other players. The autograph could be matted and framed for display by itself. Authenticated by Kevin Keating.

Lot 119.  Ken Boyer Autographed 8” x 10” Rawlings Sporting Goods Advisory Staff Photo. Nm 7 autograph on the b&w photo, which is vg and shows Boyer as the St. Louis Cardinals’ third baseman. The N.L. MVP in 1964, he was a seven-time All-Star and a five-time Gold Glove winner. He died in 1982. Authenticated by Kevin Keating.

Lot 120.  Norm Cash Autographed 1973 Topps Card #485. As the Detroit Tigers’ first baseman, Cash was a four-time All-Star who hit with power, fielded well and won the support of fans. Of the thousands who ever played major league baseball, only 67 hit more home runs than he did. He drowned in an accident in 1986, and his autograph is relative difficult to find. This example is a beauty, nm-m 8 to mint 9. Authenticated by Kevin Keating.
Winning Bid $66.

Lot 121.  Norm Cash Boldly Autographed 8” x 10” Portrait. Cash was a fun-loving fan favorite who fielded well and consistently hit with power. In 1961, he had a career season, leading the American League with a .361 batting average and 193 hits. He also hit 41 homes runs, drove in 132, scored 119 and had an on-base percentage of .488 and a slugging average of .662. He never played as well again, but he twice earned the A.L.’s Comeback Player of the Year award. He drowned in an accident in 1986. His autograph, authenticated by Kevin Keating, is mint 9. There are a couple of small marks below the signature.
Winning Bid $70.

Lot 122.  Jocko Conlan Signed HoF Postcard and 2 Interesting Signed Letters to Bobby Bragan. Conlan played briefly in the outfield for the White Sox before becoming a National League umpire in 1941. In 24 full seasons, he umpired six All-Star Games and six World Series. When he retired, Warren Giles, the N.L. president, said, "I know of no one who has been more dedicated to his profession, more loyal to the game in which he has been such a big party, and I hate to see him hang up his spikes.” In 1974, he became the fourth umpire elected to the Hall of Fame. He died in 1989. Conlan signed a gold plaque HoF postcard at the top and personalized it to “Bobby (Bragan).” The signature is nm-m 8. He also signed two handwritten letters to Bragan, one in 1985 and the other, in 1986. The first is signed “Jocko,” and the second, “Jocko Conlan.” Both are on 6” x 9” paper. In the first, Conlan offers strong opinions on the status of baseball and the importance of Judge Landis to the game. The second deals with signing at a baseball card show and more personal matters. The signatures in the letters are nm-m 8 to mint 9. A card signed by all five Bragan brothers who were involved in organized baseball accompanies the Conlan autographs – Bobby, Jimmy, Peter (signed as “P.D.B”), Frank and Lionel. A second card has facsimile signatures. Kevin Keating authenticated the signatures. A 2003 Ft. Worth Cats schedule with Bobby on the cover also is included. It is interesting to note that Bragan, as manager of three major leagues teams, including two in the N.L., was something of an umpire baiter. Yet the letters from Conlan are warm and friendly. Proceeds from this lot will go to the Bobby Bragan Youth Foundation. Over the past 20+ years, the foundation has awarded more than $1.5 million in college scholarships to public school students as they completed the EIGHTH grade! So please bid – high and often!
Winning Bid $75.

Lot 123.  “Ki Ki” Cuyler Vintage Steel-Tipped Pen Autograph Authenticated by Keating and JSA. Removed from an autograph page, this bold signature is nm-m 8 to mint 9. It has been placed on an index card. Cuyler’s Hall of Fame career as an outfielder included stints in Pittsburgh, Chicago (Cubs), Cincinnati and Brooklyn. His lifetime batting average is .351. He died in 1950 at the age of 51. Authenticated by Kevin Keating, the autograph also comes with a full Letter of Authenticity by JSA Authentication.
Winning Bid $198.
