Lot 348. Joe DiMaggio Circa 1950 Menu from His Restaurant in San Francisco. The front of the 10” x 13” menu has a facsimile autograph of the Yankees’ Hall of Fame center fielder and shows his restaurant and cocktail lounge on Fisherman’s Wharf. The cover has a vg+ appearance. The menu has splits at the top and bottom of the spine and a 1.75” tear that has been repaired with tape on the second page.

Lot 362. 1931 Photograph of Babe Ruth and Boxers Tony Canzoneri and Kid Berg. Issued by the Elliott Service Co., this composite differs from “Illustrated Current News” issues by being an actual glossy photo. Measuring 11” x 14”, it shows Ruth leaving a Boston hospital and Tony Canzoneri knocking out Jack (Kid) Berg in the third round of their April 24, 1931 bout for the lightweight and light welterweight titles. Technically vg, displays better.

Lot 369. Babe Ruth 11”x14” Limited Edition Silver Gelatin 1915 Boston Red Sox Image. This museum-quality photo, numbered 212, was hand-printed on acid-free paper from the original glass negative. Ruth won 18 games in 1915 for the Red Sox and batted .315 in the process. The season also included his first major league home run. The photo comes with its “Baseball Antiquities” certificate and is housed in its original book-like folder.

Lot 370. George Brace Photos of Ruth and Gehrig and Similar Photos of DiMaggio and Others. Black & white 8” x 10” photos of Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig have Brace Photo labels on the back. Three other photos have the appearance of Brace photos but are note labeled. An 8” x 10” photo shows Joe DiMaggio with brothers Vince and Dom. The other photos, each 5” x 7”, are of Bill Dickey and Mickey Cochrane. Printed relatively recently, these photos are nm.
