Lot 394. 35 “Our Army at War: Sgt. Rock” Comics, No. 159-274, Oct. 1965-Nov. 1974. Published by DC/National Periodical Publications, the issues are No. 159, 167, 172, 175, 176, 178-181, 183, 185-188, 191, 192, 194-199, 204, 209, 210, 217-222, 224, 229, 270 and 274. No. 159 is vg 3.0-3.5, and No. 181 is coverless. Most of the other issues are vg 4.0 -4.5, with several grading lower and several grading fn.

Lot 395. 19 DC Comics: “Enemy Ace,” “G.I. Combat,” “Fighting Forces,” “Tomahawk,” Etc. These comics are from five issues, primarily from the 1960s. “Star Spangled War Stories Presents Enemy Ace”: No. 138, 142, 145 and 147-149. All of the stories and covers are by Joe Kubert. A mix of vg-fn and fine. “Star Spangled War Stories”: No. 140, 150 and 153. Stories and art by Kubert. No. 140 is poor, with the cover missing. The two others are fn. “G.I. Combat”: No. 130, 138 and 141. Vg to vg-fn. “Our Fighting Forces”: No. 115, 125, 128 and 129. Vg to fine. “Tomahawk”: No. 113, 115 and 116. Neal Adams did the cover for No. 116. Vg+ to vg-fn.

Lot 396. 5 “Amazing Spider-Man Comics” – No. 85, 116, 117, 122 and 136. Marvel produced these comics from June 1970 through Sept. 1974. The Green Goblin perishes in No. 122 and reappears in costume as Harry Osborn in No. 136. These comics grade: No. 85 fn; 116 fr-gd; 117 fr (one-third of front page missing; otherwise, fn); 122 fn-vf, and 136 fn-vf.
