Lot 229. Duke Snider Autographed Magazine Cover. Mint 9 signature by the Hall of Fame Dodger on the cover of the March 1983 issue of “Baseball-Hobby Card Report.” Authenticated by Kevin Keating. Snider passed away in 2011.

Lot 334. Reese, Durocher, Herman and 5 More Brooklyn Dodgers Autographs. The signatures are on a Sept. 26, 1941 New York “Daily News” page that shows the Dodgers celebrating after capturing the National League pennant. The photo itself is 9.75” x 8.75”. The page is mounted on 13.5” x 18.75” thick paper. Among the signers are three Hall of Fame members – Leo Durocher, Pee Wee Reese and Billy Herman. Ed Albosta, Herman Franks, Dolph Camilli, Mickey Own and Cookie Lavagetto also signed. Their autographs are nm-m 8 or better and have been authenticated by Kevin Keating. All of these individuals are deceased.

Lot 335. Bruce Stark Images of Robinson, Reese, Durocher and Ebbets Field – and a Clock. As a staff artist for New York’s “Daily News,” Stark’s specialty was caricatures and cartoons, but he created realistic artwork as well. Offered here is 17” x 19” artwork that serves as a backdrop for a modern battery operated clock. Stark provides impressive images of Jackie Robinson, Pee Wee Reese and Leo Durocher. The white of their uniforms shows some even yellowing. This display may have been produced using a decoupage process. It is attractive and ex-m. The clock is not working but could easily be replaced.
