Lot 281.  Photo of Chuck Connors as a Boston Celtic. Widely recognized for his role in the 1958-63 TV series “The Rifleman,” Connors played basketball for the Rochester Royals and Celtics and baseball for the Brooklyn Dodgers and Chicago Cubs. The 5” x 7.75” photo is ex-m and appears to have been printed circa 1950.

Lot 300.  8 Non-Sport Books, Some Autographed, and 6 Periodicals from Tommy John. Eclectic collection ranging from children’s publications business books and books on war. The autographed books are: Winning Strategies in Selling by Roger Staubach, Jack Kinder Jr. and Garry Kinder, 1981 hardback, signed on the flyleaf “Jack – Garry – Roger.” Personalized to John, the signatures are mint 9. The book is ex-m in an nm dust jacket. The Practical Joke War, Alane Ferguson, 1991 first edition, ex-m book and dust jacket, gem mint 10 personalized signature of the author on the flyleaf. Leadership: Volume 3 signed on the flyleaf by author Sterling W. Sill, gem mint 10, 1978 first printing, ex-m/vg+. Signed also be the person who presented it to John. How I Made the Sale That Did the Most for Me, J. Mel Hickerson, 1981, nm/vg+ to ex; signed on the flyleaf by Bill Remington, senior vice president of Hellmuth, Obata & Kassabaum. The book contains a series of articles, including the opener by Muhammad Ali, “Selling Oneself in Boxing.” Where Angels Fear to Tread, O. S. Hawkins, 1984 vg paperback with a 10 personalized autograph by the author on the first title page. The unsigned books are Headlines of History from the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, 1977 oversized paperback reproducing front pages from 1906-77, ex. A Stutterer’s Story, F. P. Murray, 1997 paperback, ex. And See You at the Top, Zig Ziglar, 1975, nm, inscription on the front end-page, ex dj. The other publications are Vol. 1, No. 1 (1978) of Dynamic Classics Starring Batman ex; Easter at the White House (Disney-Nancy Reagan) ex, the Fall 2001 issue of Forum nm, the Spring 2000 Furman nm, the Aug. 1994 Midwest Living ex-m and the Nov.-Dec. 1973 Watts Cookin’ (Public Service of Indiana) nm. Lot 391.  8 1930-40s Movie Stills Featuring William Boyd as Hopalong Cassidy. The 8” x 10” b&w stills are from seven different movies: 1938 “Bar 20 Justice” vg+ (pin holes in corners), 1947 “Dangerous Venture” vg+, 1936 “Heart of the West” ex-m, 1940 “Hidden Gold” g-vg (pin holes), 1937 “Hills of Old Wyoming” g+ to vg, 1937 “Hopalong Rides Again” ex and 1937 “North of the Rio Grande” (two different) vg and ex-m. Gabby Hayes is in one photo.

Lot 392.  8 Original Movie Stills Featuring Gary Cooper. In a career spanning 35 years and more than 100 films, Cooper earned five Academy Award nominations for Best Actor and won twice, for “Sergeant York” and “High Noon.” The 8” x 10” b&w movie stills are for “Garden of Evil” (2), “Dallas” (5), “Distant Drums.” All scenes are different. Two “Dallas” photos show Cooper with his co-star, Ruth Roman. Two “Garden of Evil” have Cooper with Susan Hayward, and one, with Richard Widmark. Four photos have tack holes in the corners; otherwise, they are a mix of vg-ex and ex to ex-m.

Lot 393.  Collection of 12 World War II War Ration Books with Stamps and Case. This group comprises three copies of Book One, four of Book No. 3 and five of Book Four Each book contains the name of the owner and varying numbers of stamps. Vg overall. The ration books are housed in a vintage red case.

Lot 394.  Lyndon B. Johnson 1964 Full-Sized Campaign Pennant. Johnson won a full term in a landslide victory over Barry Goldwater. Free of pin holes and ex.

Lot 395.  Barry Goldwater 1964 Full-Sized Campaign Pennant. Goldwater served in the U.S. Senate from 1953 through the end of his unsuccessful campaign for President. Carrying only his home state of Arizona and five southern states, he lost in a landslide to Lyndon B. Johnson. Goldwater’s photo is attached to the pennant with staples, apparently as issued. Otherwise, the pennant is ex+.

Lot 396.  Scarface 1963 Die-Cast Cadillac Series 62 Mint in the Original Box. From Jada Toys, this 1:18 scale model Cadillac convertible and Al Pacino figure have never been out of the box, which has a price sticker on the front and otherwise is nm.

Lot 397.  Elvis Presley Picture Sleeves, Wine Bottle and a Music Book. One picture sleeve is from the 1970 “The Wonder of You-Mama Liked the Roses” record, and the other, from his 1972 “Burning Love-It’s a Matter of Time.” The first sleeve is vg+, and the other, p. The record for “Burning Love” is present; it has a punch hole in the label and otherwise appears to be vg-ex. The 1968 softcover music book, “Songs Recorded by Elvis Presley: Volume One,” has a vg appearance. One page is torn out, and several pages are marked in pencil. There also is an empty “All Shook Up” Special Edition 2004 California Sauvignon Blanc wine bottle from Graceland Cellars. Ex-m. It is displayed in a special holder for Stoli vodka.

Lot 398.  9 Different “Star Trek” Keepsake Ornaments. Produced in the 1990s, these ornaments represent several “Star Trek” series. Chronologically, the ornaments are: 1991 Starship Enterprise, 25th Anniversary edition. 1992 Shuttlecraft Galileo, featuring “the voice of Mr. Spock!” 1993 “Next Generation” U.S.S. Enterprise” with a blinking light. 1994 “Next Generation” Klingon Bird of Prey.” 1995 “Next Generation” Romulan Warbird. 1996 “Voyager” U.S.S. Voyager. 1997 “Deep Space Nine” U.S.S. Defiant. 1998 “First Contact” U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-E.” And 1999 “Deep Space Nine” Runabout – U.S.S. Rio Grade. All but the first two ornaments carry a “Magic” designation. All are nm-m to mint in their original boxes; we have not checked the lights or electronics.
