Lot 231.  19 Parkhurst Hockey Cards, 1957-61, and a 1960 Topps Card. One Parkhurst card is from 1957-58, #M10 St. Laurent vg. The 1958-59 cards are #4 Harris vg (writing on front), 5 Langlois vg, 14 Stewart g, 10 Marshall g, 23 Stanley (HoF) g, 24 Cushenan g, 27 Olmstead (HoF) g, 29 Duff g-vg, 31 Barry Cullen g, 32 Bonin vg, 37 Kraftcheck g, 40 Turner g, 41 Talbot g, 48 Armstrong (HoF) g and 50 Brian Cullen g. Three more Parkhurst cards are from 1961-62, #13 Keenan f-g, 15 Harris g and 19 Glover g. The lone Topps card is 1960-61 #36 Worsley (HoF) f. Twenty cards.

Lot 233.  1980-81 Topps Hockey Set of 264 – Bourque’s Rookie, Multiple Cards with Gretzky. Quality set with pucks scratched to reveal each player’s name. Stars of the set are #2 Bourque Record Breaker vg-ex, 3 Gretzky Record Breaker nm, 25 Bossy nm, 67 Goulet rookie ex-m, 87 Gretzky All-Star ex, 140 Bourque rookie ex-m, 162 Assist Leaders ex-m+, 163 Scoring Leaders ex-m+, 182 Gretzky (Oilers Team Leaders card) ex-m, 195 Gartner rookie nm and 250 Gretzky ex-m. Overall, the set grades ex-m+.

Lot 234.  6 Montreal Canadiens Autographs – Beliveau, Cournoyer, Gainey, Savard, 2 More. Four Hall of Fame players are in this group of autographs authenticated by Kevin Keating: Jean Beliveau, Brian Bellows, Yvan Cournoyer, Gilbert Dionne, Bob Gainey and Denis Savard. Beliveau signed a black & white 8” x 10” photo; Cournoyer, a 5.25” x 8” color photo that’s part of a magazine page, and Gainey, a color 8” x 11” magazine page. The others signed color 8 x 10s. The signatures are nm-m 8 to gem mint 10 and average mint 9. Authenticated by Kevin Keating.

Lot 235.  Sebastian Charpentier Autographed Game-Used Sher-Wood Goalie Stick. Drafted by the Washington Capitals in 1995, Charpentier played briefly behind Olaf Kolzig from 2002-04. A Canadian, he plays now for the Graz 99ers of the Austrian Erste Bank Hockey League. His signature, with his uniform number added, is nm 7 to nm-m 8 on tape on the blade of his stick, which shows game use. Authenticated by Kevin Keating.

Lot 236.  Olaf Kolzig Autographed Goalie Statue. Kolzig was the NHL’s best goalie in 2000 and a fan favorite throughout his 14-season career with the Washington Capitals. His signature is nm-m 8 on the back of a plaster statue that is approximately 6.5” tall, 8.5” wide and 4.5” deep. The statue apparently was presented to a Capitals Executive Club Seat Holder for the 1998-99 season. It has a chip on one back corner. Authenticated by Kevin Keating.

Lot 237.  Steve Konowalchuk Autographed Koho 2295 Game Hockey Stick. Konowalchuk was an excellent left-winger for the Washington Capitals from 1992-2004, and team co-captain or captain beginning in 2001. Currently, he coaches the Seattle Thunderbirds of the Western Hockey League. His autograph is nm-m 8 on the blade of the stick, which may have been game-used. Authenticated by Kevin Keating.

Lot 238.  Brendan Witt Autographed Photo and Washington Capitals Signed Calendar. Witt was co-captain of the Capitals for the 2001-02 season. His signature is mint 9 on an 8” x 10” color photo. Steve Konowalchuk, the team’s other 2001-02 co-captain, is among the signers of a 2002 Washington calendar. Konowalchuk took over a captain for 2002-03. The calendar is signed also by coach Bruce Cassidy, Ivan Ciernik, Mike Grier, Jeff Halpern, Calle Johansson, Kip Miller and Dainius Zubus. The autographs are nm-m 8 to mint 9 and have been authenticated by Kevin Keating.

Lot 239.  Autographs of Esposito, Hull, Mikita, Nicholls, Roenick and 2 More Black Hawks. Six of these seven autographs are on color 8” x 10” photos: Phil Esposito, Bobby Hull, Stan Mikita, Bernie Nicholls, Jim Pappin and Jeremy Roenick. The seventh, by Gerry Couture (died 1994), is on a 3.5” x 7.5” b&w photo. The Esposito autograph is bold and displays as nm 7 to nm-m 8 against a dark background. Roenick’s is nm-m 8 to mint 9. The others are mint 9 or gem mint 10. Esposito, Hull and Mikita are in the Hall of Fame. Authenticated by Kevin Keating.

Lot 240.  8 Signed Hockey Photos Including Phil Esposito (3) and Clark Gillies. Nm-m 8 and better autographs on color 8” x 10” photos by Esposito, Gillies, Alexander Mogilny, Tomas Sandstrom, Peter Taglianetti and Wendell Young. Esposito signed three different photos; one pictures him with the New York Rangers, and two, with the Boston Bruins. Authenticated by Kevin Keating.

Lot 241.  37 Tampa Bay Lightning Autographs on 34 Color 8” x 10” Photos. A photo from 1992, the team’s inaugural season, is signed by Phil Esposito, Chris Gratton, Denis Savard and Gerard Gallant. Co-founder of the Lightning, Esposito served as the team’s general manager. Gratton was the team’s first draft choice, and Savard, then a future Hall of Fame member, and Gallant were veterans drafted by the team. These autographs are mint 9 to gem mint 10. The others are nm-m 8 or better and average mint 9. The other photos are signed by Mikael Andersson, Drew Bannister, Brian Bellows, Marc Bergevin, Brian Bradley, Shawn Burr, Danton Cole, Adam Creighton, Terry Crisp (coach), John Cullen, Rob DiMaio, Pat Elyniuk, Pat Falloon, Gallant, Aaron Gavey, Gratton, Brent Gretzky, Roman Hamrlik, Pat Jablonski, Petr Klima, Chris Kontos, Chris Lipuma, Rudy Poeschek, Darren Puppa, Joe Reekie, Alexander Selivanov, Peter Taglianetti, John Tucker, Jason Wiemer, Wendell Young, Paul Yzerbart, Bob Zamuner and one other. Lot 242.  Rastislav Stana Game-Used Sher-Wood Hockey Stick. Our consignor obtained this stick from the Washington Capitals. During the 2003-04 season, Stana backed-up Olaf Kolzig. More recently, he has played in Russia. The stick shows good use.

Lot 243.  Joe Reekie 2295 Game Model Hockey Stick. Reekie was a defenseman for the Washington Capitals from 1993-2002. He became a post-game analyst for the team following his retirement. Our consignor obtained the stick, which bears Reekie’s name, from the Capitals.

Lot 244.  Mario Lemieux Autographed 1991 Stanley Cup Champions Hockey Puck. Bold nm-m 8 signature authenticated by Kevin Keating. Lemieux earned the Conn Smythe Trophy as the MVP of the playoffs as he helped the Penguins to capture their first Stanley Cup.
