Lot 284. Ben Hogan Autographed Check. A member of the World Golf Hall of Fame, Hogan is regarded as one of the 10 best golfers of all time. His 64 PGA victories place him fourth on the all-time list. He won nine major tournaments – the Masters twice, the U.S. Open four times, the British Open once and the PGA Championship twice. Hogan’s signature, as “W. Ben Hogan,” is mint 9 to gem mint 10 on a 1993 check. Authenticated by Kevin Keating. Hogan passed away in 1997.

Lot 285. Sam Snead Signed Book, “Golf Begins at Forty: How to Use Your Age Advantage.” Snead made both the ESPN and Associated Press list of the top 100 athletes of the 20th century. A member of the World Golf Hall of Fame, he won 82 PGA tournaments, which remains a record. His triumphs include seven majors. He passed away in 2002. Snead placed an nm 7 to nm-m 8 personalized autograph on his image opposite the title page of this 1978 softocver book, which is vg+ to ex. Autograph authenticated by Kevin Keating.

Lot 286. Tom Watson Autographed Book. Watson has been named PGA Player of the Year six times; only Tiger Woods has been honored more times (nine). Watson’s victories include the U.S. Open in 1982, the Masters in 1977 and 1981 and the British Open five times. His autograph is mint 9 and personalized on the title page of “The New Rules of Golf.” This 1984 hardback, a stated first edition, and its dust jacket are ex. Authenticated by Kevin Keating.
