The Steelers’ 1974, 1975, 1978 and 1979 teams captured Super Bowl championships, and all four are represented in the media guides. In addition, the 1979 team is the subject of a yearbook. The media guides are for 1968, 1970-83 and 1985. There also is a guide for Super Bowl XIV played in 1980 in Pasadena. Two 45 rpm records, both by Freddie Waters, complete this collection. One dated 1979 has Watters’ “Steel It Steelers” on the A side; an instrumental version is on the other. Ex (visual). The other, which is undated, has “Super Steelers” on both sides. Vg-ex (visual). The Steelers’ fifth Super Bowl triumph is covered is two magazine-format publications, Street & Smith’s “Champions: 2005 Pittsburgh Steelers” and Lindy Sports’ “Super Bowl Champions.” Each of these two publications contains almost 100 pages of photos and information.
