These photos average nm to nm-m, with slightly less than one-half apparently made from original negatives.

Lot 373. Modern Silver Gelatin Print of the 1955 World Champion Brooklyn Dodgers. These Dodgers brought Brooklyn its only world championship. The photo includes such notables as Johnny Podres, the series pitching hero, Sandy Amoros, Jackie Robinson, Duke Snider, Gil Hodges, Carl Furillo, Junior Gilliam, Sandy Koufax, Done Newcombe, Roy Campanella, Pee Wee Reese and manager Walt Alston. Lot 374. Richie Ashburn Modern Silver Gelatin Print from an Original Negative. One of baseball’s best defensively and a .308 career batter, Ashburn entered the Hall of Fame in 1995. His autograph on a cut or index card would go well with this outstanding 16” x 20” nm-m print that has an unprinted strip along the left side.

Lot 377. Stan Musial Modern Silver Gelatin Print from an Original Negative. Nm-m 16” x 20” print. The Society for American Baseball Research (SABR) counts Musial as the fifth greatest baseball player of all time, and “The Sporting News” had him at No. 10 at the close of the 20th century.
