Lot 293.  Tommy John Signed 1975 LA Dodgers’ Schedule and a 1977 World Series Plaque. John’s autograph is nm-m 8 on 13” x 22” spring training schedule that presents his image and gem mint 10 on a 24” x 24.5” artwork plaque for the Dodgers’ World Series encounter with the Yankees. The schedule is g, and the plaque shows edge chips and a stain in one corner. Accompanying these items is a 1983 schedule marking the Dodgers’ 25th anniversary. John is among the players pictured. The 17” x 22” poster is framed and nm. Authenticated by Kevin Keating.

Lot 294.  Baseball Signed by Whitey Ford and Other Stars. From Tommy John’s collection, this OAL Bobby Brown ball may have been signed at an All-Star or Old-Timer event. It has a large, bold Ford autograph on the sweet spot. Other signers are Graig Nettles, Bob Lemon, Bob Bailey, Frank Duffy, Steve Garvey, Steve Yeager, Rawley Eastwick, Doug Rau and Bryan Doyle. Authenticated by Kevin Keating and accompanied by a signed “Property of Thomas Edward John” label.

Lot 296.  Tommy John and Wayne Huizenga Florida Marlins Opening Day Autograph Package. This collection includes three autographs by Huizenga, four by John, and other memorabilia related to the team’s inaugural game on April 5, 1993. John was Huizenga’s guest as the Marlins faced the Dodgers. Huizenga brought major league baseball to South Florida. He owned the Marlins from 1993 until 1998. His autograph is large and mint 9 on the sweet spot of an ONL William White baseball. Another signature is lighter, ex 5, on a Marlins’ Inaugural Year ball that depicts Joe Robbie Stadium on one panel. He also signed “Wayne” at the end of an inscription on the bill of a Marlins cap to: “Tommy, You’re the greatest. ‘Go Marlins’.’’ Mint 9. John signed an 8” x 10” color photo that includes him, Huizenga and other individuals. Mint. His signature is nm-m 8 on the sweet spot of a Marlins Kick-Off Party baseball. John and his wife, Sally, served on a committee for the event. John also autographed an Opening Day program (mint 9) and an 11” x 17” poster for the party (nm-m 8). In addition to the signed items, this group includes another nm-m program for the inaugural game, six invitations to the Kick-Off Party and four ex full-sized Opening Day pennants. Kevin Keating authenticated the autographs.

Lot 301.  Jurinko Yankee Stadium Scene Signed by Ford, Piniella, Perry, Guidry, Rivers, 2 More. Seven Yankees autographs adorn the infield of this 1992 Andy Jurinko open edition print titled “‘Yankee Stadium Panorama’ Bronx.” They are nm-m 8 and better by Whitey Ford, Lou Piniella, Gaylord Perry, Ron Guidry, Mickey Rivers, Luis Arroyo and Willie Randolph. The image itself is 6.75” x 15.75, matted in Yankees pinstripes to 14.5” x 21.5”. Nm-m. Autographs authenticated by Kevin Keating.

Lot 346.  Pittsburgh Pirates Perez-Steele Great Moments Collection with Stargell’s Card Signed. Willie Stargell placed a mint 9 autograph on his Great Moments card. Kevin Keating authenticated the signature. Stargell passed away in 2001. The other cards are unsigned and nm-m: Roberto Clemente, Max Carey, Arky Vaughan, Honus Wagner, and the Waner Bros., Paul and Lloyd.

Lot 347.  Autographs of the Pittsburgh Pirates’ O’Brien Twins – Johnny and Ed. The O’Briens starred in basketball at the University of Seattle and then played infield positions and pitched for the Pirates in the 1950s. Each signed an unlined index card. Their signatures are mint 9 to gem mint 10. Authenticated by Kevin Keating.
