Lot 144.  Harmon Killebrew (HoF) Autographed Baseball Bat. The Hall of Fame slugger placed a mint 9 signature on the barrel of the bat and added “573 HR’s,” the number that places him 11th on the all-time Major League home run list. He was among the top six in the pre-steroid era. A 13-time All-Star, Killebrew was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1984. He passed away in 2011. His autograph is on a 31” Killebrew model 1960s Hillerich & Bradsby Little League bat, which shows substantial use. Killebrew’s stamped-on name is light but readable. Kevin Keating authenticated the autograph.

Lot 145.  Juan Marichal Signed 1983 Authentic Sports Autographs Card. The card is No. 1 in this set of 12 cards, which are nm-m. The set is #100 of 2,000 produced. Kevin Keating authenticated the nm-m 8 autograph.

Lot 146.  Eddie Mathews Autographed 7” x 9” Original UPI 1957 World Series Photo. Mathews is congratulated by his teammates after his 10th-inning two-run home run won Game 4 of the 1957 World Series for the Milwaukee Braves. His signature in the upper left corner is nm-m 8. The photo is vg-ex. A member of the 500 home run club, Mathews entered the Hall of Fame in 1978. He died in 2001. Authenticated by Kevin Keating.

Lot 147.  Buck O’Neil, Negro Leagues Star, Autographed Bat. Gem mint 10 autograph on a 34” nm-m Young Bat Co. “Buck O’Neill (sic)” model. O’Neil played first base for the Kansas City Monarchs and later managed the team. He was the first African-American coach in the majors. His efforts were important in establishing the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum in Kansas City, MO. He passed away in 2006. Autograph authenticated by Kevin Keating, author of “The Negro Leagues Autograph Guide.”

Lot 149.  Autographed Pete Rose Ballpark Cafe Ticket. Measuring 3 ½” x 7”, the ticket celebrates the inaugural season of the Pete Rose Ballpark Cafe in Boca Raton FL. Rose has signed the ticket in bold blue sharpie. The autograph is a 10. Authenticated by Kevin Keating.

Lot 150.  Nolan Ryan 1993 Autographed Fossil Watch 27th Season Commemorative Collectors Set. Components of the set are a watch with an embossed image of Ryan, a metal case with two more images of the Hall of Fame strikeout king and signed and framed 3.5” x 5” artwork. The signature, authenticated by Kevin Keating, is mint 9 to gem mint 10. Nm-m. The watch needs a battery to make it work. Authenticated by Kevin Keating.

Lot 152.  Fernando Valenzuela Autographed Baseball. Mint 9 signature on a panel of a mint Rawlings Official League ball. The 1981 N.L. Rookie of the Year and Cy Young Award recipient, Valenzuela was a six-time All-Star who pitched a no-hitter in 1990. His career included stops in Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Baltimore, San Diego, St. Louis and Anaheim. Authenticated by Kevin Keating.

Lot 153.  1950 Phils “Whiz Kids” Autographed Bat. Robin Roberts, Bob Miller, Andy Seminick, Stan Lopata, Dick Whitman, Curt Simmons and Bubba Church signed the Young Bat Co. 34” Whiz Kids 1950 N.L. Champs commemorative model. The autographs are nm-m 8 and better, while the bat is nm-m. Roberts, Church, Whitman and Seminick are deceased. Authenticated by Kevin Keating.

Lot 154.  9 Signed HoF Gold Plaque Postcards – Appling, Barlick, Boudreau, Gehringer and Musial. These cards are nicely autographed by “Luke” Appling, Al Barlick, Lou Boudreau (3), Chas. Gehringer (3) and Stan Musial. The Appling signature is nm 7 to nm-m 8. The others are nm-m 8 or better and average mint 9. Authenticated by Kevin Keating. All of these Hall of Fame members are deceased.

Lot 155.  6 Autographed Hall of Fame Gold Plaque Postcards – Carlton, Coveleski, Slaughter, Etc. The cards are signed on the front at the top by Steve Carlton, Stanley Coveleski, Monte Irvin, Al Kaline, Robin Roberts and Enos Slaughter. Except for Coveleski, the signatures are nm-m 8 or better. The ink did not flow easily when Coveleski signed; his autograph is ex to ex-m, free of smudges or any retracing. Authenticated by Kevin Keating.

Lot 156.  9 Signed Photo Postcards – 7 by HoFers Plus Garagiola and Kubek. These real-photo postcards bear the autographs of “Luke” Appling, Lou Boudreau, Bob Feller, Joe Garagiola, Tony Kubek, Johnny Mize, Phil Rizzuto (personalized), Books Robinson and Edd Roush. Kubek’s signature is ex 5; Robinson’s, nm 7, and Roush’s, nm 7 to nm-m 8. The others are nm-m 8 or better and average mint 9. Except for the Roush card, these postcards have pinholes in the corners. The eight cards with pinholes come with copies of individual Letters of Authenticity from JSA Authentication in conjunction with another auction firm. Kevin Keating has authenticated all of the autographs.

Lot 157.  91 Deceased Major Leaguer Autographs – 18 on Rowe Postcards and 73 on Index Cards. This collection includes obscure players and others from the 1930s and 1940s, including old-time Dodgers and Yankees. The Rowe photo postcards are signed by Luis Aloma, Charles Eckert, Eddie Feinberg, Al Glossop, Hal Kelleher, Harl Maggert, George Meyer, Eddie Miller, Leo Norris, John Prudhomme, Jack Radtke (2 different), Arthur Rebel, “Joey” Samples, Frank Shofner, Paul Sullivan (2 different) and Jim Walkup.
