The key cards in this set are #1 Unitas nm, 3 Schottenheimer rookie p, 25 Butkus vg, 39 Blanda vg, 45 Csonka f, 113 Houston rookie vg+, 114 Lanier rookie vg+, 120 Tarkenton vg+, 150 Sayers f-g, 156 Bradshaw rookie vg+, 160 Griese g-vg, 200 Starr vg+, 245 Greene rookie vg, 250 Namath vg+ and 280 Simpson vg+. The rest of the set averages vg to vg-ex.

Lot 206.  1972 Sunoco Football Stamps Deluxe Album and 19 Uncut Sheets of Stamps. The 128-page deluxe album containing 144 stamps is unused and nm-m+. Nineteen uncut team sheets of 24 stamps each accompany the album. Issued later in the year, the sheets contain players that were not in the original issue. For example, future Hall of Famer Jim Langer was added for Miami. The team sheets are for Atlanta, Baltimore, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Denver, Detroit, Houston, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Miami, Minnesota, New England, New Orleans, New York Giants, Net York Jets, Pittsburgh, St. Louis, San Diego and San Francisco. The Steelers sheet is vg. The others are nm-m, with the Atlanta, Miami and Minnesota sheets having one or two bent corners; the stamps are not affected. One stamp, a common player, is lightly creased on the Baltimore sheet.

Lot 207.  4 Topps Football Sets – 1982, 1983, 1984 and 1986 – Marino, Elway and Rice Rookies. All four sets were put together in the year the cards were issued and then stored. Centering is essentially the lone factor that keeps some cards from grading mint. Highlights of the 528-card 1982 set are #51 Munoz rookie nm, 302 Payton mint, 303 Payton In Action mint, 434 Taylor rookie nm-m, 435 Taylor In Action nm-m, 486 Lott nm, 487 Lott In Action nm-m, 488 Montana nm-m and 489 Montana In Action nm-m. Marcus Allen, #294 and the most important card in the 1983 set, grades mint. In the 1984 set, both the Elway rookie, #63, and the Marino rookie, #123, are centered approximately 65:35 top-to-bottom. The Elway card is mint, and the Marino, nm-m. The Rice rookie, #161 in the 1986 set, is perfectly centered. Mint. Another important rookie card, #374 Steve Young, is very well centered and mint. The sets are nm-m to mint.

Lot 208.  1989 and 1990 Score Factory Football Sets. The 330-card 1989 set has been opened and collated. Rookie cards dominate the set, including those of Barry Sanders, Troy Aikman, Tim Brown and Chris Carter. The key rookies grade: #18 Irvin nm-m, 27 Chandler nm-m, 72 Carter mint, 86 Brown nm-m, 200 Beuerlein mint, 211 Thurman Thomas nm-m, 246 Deion Sanders nm-m, 257 Barry Sanders nm-m, 258 Derrick Thomas nm, 270 Aikman nm+ and 272 Rison nm+. The rest of the set grades nm-m overall. The 660-card 1990 set is unopened.
