Lot 235. The Heisman Trophy – Modernized! A Northeast artist created this updated version of the Heisman statue. Frank Eliscu sculpted the original in 1935 for the Downtown Athletic Club, sponsor of the Heisman Award. The modern player is sleeker and wears a face mask. The statue is 10.75” tall on a 3” base. Mint. This conversation starter is believed to be one-of-a-kind.

Lot 236. Robert F. Kennedy Pictured Twice in a 1947 Harvard Football Program. The future U.S. Senator, Attorney General and Presidential candidate is shown individually and as a member of the Harvard team. Kennedy was a reserve end. The program is for the Oct. 18 Holy Cross game. It is vg+ with two staple holes in the upper left and 1” spine split at the top. Two ticket stubs for the game come with the program. Each stub has two pin holes and otherwise is vg-ex.

Lot 237. Scarce 1960 “Johnny Unitas Football Game” by Play-Rite of Jeffersonville, IN. This game turns up infrequently. Unitas is pictured on the 18 ¾” x 13 ½” lid, which is vg-ex with splits at two seams and shows some edge wear. The contents appear to be complete with a board that has four letters added to it and otherwise is ex. The game displays nicely and is a “must” for a complete Unitas collection.

Lot 242. Jimmy Brown Hand-Painted Statue. Dynamic figure portraying the Cleveland Browns’ No. 32 ready to outmaneuver or run over an opponent. Apparently made of steel, it stands 8.5” tall on a 1” base. Nm with minor paint loss on the left sleeve.
