This set, which is heavy with Hall of Fame players, contains the first standard-sized NBA cards issued by Topps since 1957, with the exception of the 1968 test issue. Lot 271.  New York Knicks Early 1970-73 “Golden Era” Display. With stars such as Bill Bradley, Dave DeBusschere, Walt Frazier, Earl Monroe, Willis Reed, Jerry Lucas and Cazzie Russell, the Knicks captured their only NBA championships in 1970 and 1973. They also won a conference title in 1972 and a division title in 1971. Their exploits are represented in a 31” x 21” framed display composed of player, team and crowd images reproduced from “Sports Illustrated,” programs and other media. Some facsimile autographs are also part of the display. An attention-grabber from the Knicks’ best days in the NBA!
