Lot 22.  Scarce 1934 R313A Gold Medal Foods Partial Set of 7 – Cochrane, Frisch, Medwick, Etc. The company that produces Wheaties issued these cards to commemorate the 1934 World Series. The set consists of six St. Louis Cardinals and six Detroit Tigers. This group includes Bridges, Chochrane (HoF), Paul Dean, Frisch (HoF), Goslin (HoF), Pepper Martin and Medwick (HoF). The cards are similar to the 1936 National Chicle Fine Pens. Each has been taped to a stiff paper backing. Technically poor, the cards have a g-vg appearance.

Lot 24.  15 Different 1934 Diamond Silver Border Matchcovers. All have been opened and have their strikers. The covers exhibit the usual staple marks and creasing by the folds, which has not been taken into consideration in the grading. Adams f-g, Allen p Berres vg, Burns vg, Carroll vg-ex, Elliott vg+ to ex, English vg-ex, Galehouse f, McManus vg-ex, Nelson f, Schulmerick f, Storti p, Stout ex, Warstler ex and Werber ex.

Lot 25.  2 1934 V354 World Wide Gum (Candadian Goudey) Cards. The cards are #12 Reynolds vg and 52 Kuhel vg.

Lot 26.  1935 R327 Diamond Stars Green Back #30 HoFer “Heinie” Manush “W” on Sleeve. There is glue residue on the back, which is completely readable. With the glue residue not taken into consideration the card grades ex-m.

Lot 30.  1935 R321 Goudey 4-in-1 Jimmie Foxx (HoF), Higgins, Mahaffey and Williams. One of the key cards in the set, this card has the 2B puzzle back. Vg+ to ex.
