These five hardback volumes are the definitive resource of identifying tobacco cards issued in the U.S., Great Britain and around the world. The Cartophilic Society of Great Britain produced the books from 1956 through 1990. They are accompanied by a number of other references. Issued in hardback, the five key books are: The World Tobacco Issues Index, 1975 reprint of the 1956 original, clear tape on the spine, vg+. The World Index (Part II), First Supplement, 1979 reprint of the 1965 original, vg-ex. The World Index (Part III), Second Supplement, 1979, clear tape on the spine, vg. The World Index (Part IV), Third Supplement, 1981, clear tape on the spine, vg. The World Index (Part V), Fourth Supplement, 1990, ex. These references are complete with pages that generally are ex.
