 Lot 242. Pittsburgh Condors Rare ABA1970-71 Basketball Program vs. the Indiana Pacers. Rare program with wonderful cover artwork including the Condors’ mascot and the soon-to-be-defunct Civic Arena. Originally, the American Basketball Association Condors were the Pittsburgh Pipers, in 1966-67. Then they moved to Minneapolis for one to season, returned to Pittsburgh for the 1969-70 season, and became the Condors in 1970. The 1971-72 season was their last. This 30-page program plus covers is ex. Lou Carnesecca and Bill Sharman are among the ABA coaches pictured inside. Player photos include John Brisker, Rick Barry and Spencer Haywood. The Condors didn’t exactly attract the multitudes, and their programs are tough to come by.
