Lot 166.  23 Early 1900s Blankets Featuring the U.S. Flag. Most are B6 Type 1 blankets, about 5 ¼” x 8 ½”. One has a wide purple border and background; six have a purple border and tan background; one has a brown border and tan background, and seven have a green border and background. Two blankets have a brown border and green background. There are two different B5 designs (10”+ long with emblems in the corners), one B3 (12” long) and one that is about 6 ¾” x 9” with a flower design in the corners. Three B8 blankets, 8 ½” x 10 ¼” and all with different designs, are included. These flags have five others around the U.S. flag. In addition to the U.S. flags, there is a B7 U.S. Jack, a B5 Confederate States flag and a B6 Type 2 (floral background) blanket with the Russian flag. These blankets average vg to vg-ex.

Lot 167.  4 1961 Nu-Card “Horror Monster Series” Green Cards SGC-Graded 84 NM 7. Well centered cards: #23 Curse of the Faceless Man, 39 The Alligator People, 47 The Giant Behemoth and 62 Horror of Dracula.

Lot 168.  12 1961 Nu-Card “Horror Monster Series” Green Cards, 2 Graded by SGC. Card #23, Curse of the Faceless Man, received an SGC grade of 84 NM 7, and #39, The Alligator People, 86 NM+ 7.5. There are two additional copies each of #23 and 39. Also, three copies each of #47 The Giant Behemoth and 62 Horror of Dracula. These card average ex-m.

Lot 169.  1964 Ed-U-Card John F. Kennedy Set of 42 Cards. The full title of the set, composed of 3 ½” x 5 ¾” b&w cards with photo fronts and information backs, is “A Pictorial Biography of John F. Kennedy and His Family.” The cards are in the original box, which is complete and p-f. Three cards are sports-related. One shows the President throwing out the first ball at Griffith Stadium to begin the 1963 major league baseball season. S second shows him and Mrs. Kennedy on a Tennis court, and in a third, he wears a football uniform as a member of the Dexter School team. Ex overall.

Lot 170.  16 Different 1968-69 Philadelphia Gum “Dark Shadows” Series 2 (Green) Cards. The cards are #2, 10, 14, 24, 27-29, 36, 49, 53, 55, 56, 58 and 64-66. The constitute almost one-fourth of the 66-card set. Ex to ex-m overall.

Lot 171.  31 Circa 1970s Exhibit Cards of Mostly Singers – Presley, the Beatles, Etc. Bill Cosby joins this group of music makers, which includes Herb Alpert, Ed Ames, the Animals, the Beach Boys, the Beatles, the Byrds, the Buckinghams, the Dave Clark Five, the Four Seasons, Robert Goulet, Jack Jones, Gary Lewis, the Lovin Spoonful, Dean Martin, Al Martino, Roger Miller, the Monkees, the Outsiders, Peter & Gordon, Elvis, Paul Revere and the Raiders, the Righteous Brothers, Johnny Rivers, the Rolling Stones, the Searchers, Sonny & Cher, Johnny Tillotson, Jerry Vale, Andy Williams and the Young Rascals. These black & white cards have white blank backs and may be a 1970s reprint of a 1960s set. Nm+.
