Lot 96.  Duke Snider Autograph on a 1948 or 1949 Team Issue. Large 9-10 signature on a black & white 6 ½” x 9” team-issued portrait. The photo has a tack hole in each corner, a scuff in the center at the top and tape residue in the bottom border. They could easily be matted out to create a fantastic Snider item. Authenticated by Kevin Keating. Proceeds from the sale of this lot will benefit the Society for American Baseball Research.

Lot 104.  Sandy Koufax Bold Autograph on a Gold Hall of Fame Plaque Postcard. Gem mint 10 signature by Koufax, who was enshrined at Cooperstown in 1972. Authenticated by Kevin Keating. Proceeds from the sale of this lot will benefit the Society for American Baseball Research.

Lot 197.  LA Dodgers Collection – 1961 Union Oil Booklets Partial Set, Tickets, PCs, Etc. Seventeen of the 24 Union Oil “Dodger Family” booklets are present: Alston, Craig, Tommy Davis, Willie Davis, Drysdale, Fairly, Gilliam, Howard, Koufax, Larker, Moon, Neal, Perranoski, Larry Sherry, Norm Sherry, Snider and Wills. Vg-ex to ex overall. There also is a 1960 “Dodger Family” booklet featuring Koufax. Vg. Full phantom tickets are offered for the 1991 NLCS and the 1991 World Series, all nm-m. They are accompanied by a 2001 ticket and stub picturing Shawn Green, nm, and a ticket for a 2003 game with the Brewers; Green again is shown, nm-m. Green is the subject of a center-fold poster in the 2000 Dodgers Magazine, nm. Nine team-issued 1960s-70s postcards are in the collection: Alston, Buckner, Fairly, Alan Foster, Lou Johnson, Mike Marshall, Osteen, Sizemore and Torborg. Ex-m+ to nm+ overall. There also is a 1960 team-issued b&w photo of James Gilliam vg-ex and a Jay Publishing photo, apparently from 1960, of Gil Hodges vg. Excellent collection of 36 items!

Lot 198.  The Brooklyn Dodgers 1953-1957: A Fan’s Memoir Signed by Dodgers Players. The autographs of Pee Wee Reese, Carl Furillo, Carl Erskine, Don Newcombe, Ralph Branca, Cal Abrams, Sal Maglie, Johnny Podres and Clem Labine are on the cover of this 1982 ex softcover book. Mrs. Gil Hodges and Dodgers press agent Irving Rudd also signed. The signatures are primarily 9s and 10s. The softcover book is by Bill Borst, whose personalized signature is on the title page. There are Jackie Robinson stamps and 1982 and 1984 Cooperstown postmarks on the book. Proceeds from the sale of this lot will benefit the Society for American Baseball Research, a non-profit membership organization open to all that fosters the research, preservation, and dissemination of the history and record of baseball.

Lot 199.  The Brooklyn Dodgers: An Informal History by Frank Graham. One of the Putnam histories, this hardback is a second printing from 1945. Vg+ copy with the flyleaf inscribed; g+ to vg price-clipped dust jacket with small chips at the top and bottom of the spine and three tears of 1 ½” or shorter.

Lot 200.  Brooklyn Dodgers 1951, 1953 and 1954 Yearbooks, 1954 Program, 1955 History. All three yearbooks have Willard Mullin Brooklyn Bum artwork on their covers. The 1953 yearbook introduces rookies Jim Gilliam and Johnny Podres. The number “35” is written in ink on the front, and the back cover has two chips out of it and a 3 ½” split along the spine; the pages inside are vg+ to ex. The 1954 edition pictures newcomers Sandy Amoros, Don Hoak, Don Zimmer and Tom Lasorda. G-vg covers with tape along the spine, a ½” edge tear on the front and a chip out of the back. The pages are vg+ to ex with a folio of four pages loose. The 1951 yearbook has the owner’s name in a label on the front cover and a child’s writing on almost every page. The 1954 program is scored vs. Pittsburgh and vg-ex. A softcover publication Brooklyn Dodgers: This IS Next Year by Tot Holmes, 1995, ex, provides a history of the 1955 season in 108 pages. Proceeds from the sale of this lot will benefit the Society for American Baseball Research.

Rookies Jim Gilliam and Johnny Podres are pictured, as well as such established stars as Jackie Robinson, Pee Wee Reese and Carl Furillo. Proceeds from the sale of this lot will benefit the Society for American Baseball Research.
