Graded Baseball Cards   26 Lots       »

Lot 33.  Very-High-Quality 1971 Topps Baseball Starter Set of 284 - 17 Graded by PSA. In grading these cards, we may have handled them more than they otherwise were handled in the past 38 years! They have a pack-fresh, crisp feel and appearance. Seventeen were graded and encased by PSA. Two are graded NM-MT 8: #426 and 590. Three have grades of NM+ 7.5: #621, 622 and 629. And 12 more have been assigned NM 7 grades: #22, 33, 119, 157, 242, 378, 436, 463, 497, 599 Cash, 602 and 752. The quality of the “raw” cards, most of them commons, is similar to that of the graded cards. Among these cards are #68 N.L. ERA Leaders nm+, 105 Conigliaro ex-m+, 110 Mazeroski ex-m+, 248 Wilhelm ex-m, 290 Oliva ex-m+, 327-330 and 330 World Series, 499 Checklist ex-m+, 502 Cubs team ex-m+ and 695 Joe Niekro ex-m+.
