Lot 9. Rare Houston Colt .45s Blue Uniform 1962-63 Square White Base Mascot Bobbing Head. The doll most difficult to find among the mascot bobbing heads, this example has the crossed pistols decals on both the hat and the base. It displays as nm to nm-m. Closer examination reveals some yellowing to three sides of the base and the top of the hat, and two paint chips on the under side of his head in the back. Quality example of an uncommon bobble. MB $200.

Lot 11. 3 Cincinnati Reds Bobbing Heads - 1963-65 Green Base, 1966-71 Gold Base, Etc. The green and gold-base bobbles have Mr. Redlegs heads. The green-base version has two chips on the mascot’s hat, and a couple of additional chips on the under side of his head. A decal on the under side of the base carries a 1962 date and a Japanese patent number. The gold-base bobble lacks “Cincinnati” on the base. It shows some soiling, and the spring is exposed. On the bottom, it is stamped “1968 Made in Japan.” The third bobbing head is plastic from the 1970s, has a boy’s head and is nm.

Lot 191. Pittsburgh Pirates 1966-71 Gold Base Bobbing Head. Ex with a barely noticeable hairline crack in the back of his head, a tiny chip on his cheek, some minor paint cracking toward the under side of the head and light wear on “Pittsburgh” on the base.
