Lot 314.  World Team Tennis 1975 All-Star Booklet, 1974 Pittsburgh Triangles Photos. On May 6, 1974, the Pittsburgh Triangles played the first ever World Team Tennis match. The WTT folded in 1978. Three 8” x 10” b&w photos represent the inaugural season of the Pittsburgh team. They are Ken Rosewall, the Triangles’ coach, Isabel Fernandez, and their best woman player, Evonne Goolagong. Vg-ex: the Goolagong photo has a 1” tear at the bottom. The 48-page booklet is titled Tennis Tips: 1975 World Team Tennis All-Star Team. It contains advice from 40 All-Stars. Ex-m. Minimum Bid $25.

Lot 315.  Tennis Star, Spy Alice Marble on the Cover of the Oct. 1939 Click Magazine. From 1936 through 1940, Marble won 18 championships. After her husband was killed in action in WWII, she became a spy, obtaining Nazi financial records. This issue features a two-page photo spread on her efforts to become a singing and acting star. Ex. Lot 316.  2006 Tennis Hall of Fame Program Recognizing Rafter, Sabatini, Clerici. The 40 page program for the International Tennis Hall of Fame’s “Newport in New York” fundraiser pictures the three living new enshrinees – Patrick Rafter, Gabriela Sabatini and Gianni Clerici. Ex+. Winning Bid $5.
