Could be a valuable reference for any tube radio enthusiast, as well as a treasure for its period radio ads. Vg and clean with some writing on the back cover.

Lot 770.  3 1930s Detective Weekly Pulp Fiction Magazines. Issues are from June 6, 1931 vg-ex, June 17, 1933, f-g cover with ex contents, and July 20, 1935 ex with minor writing on the front cover. Each issue features more than 130 pages of stories by writers such as Earl Stanley Gardner (Perry Mason creator), J. Lane Linklater and Frederic C. Davis.

Lot 771.  3 Issue of Startling Stories Including L. Ron Hubbard or Henry Kuttner Stories. Collaborating with C. L. Moore, his wife, Kuttner was a popular 1940s-50s science fiction writer. He also wrote under the name Lewis Padgett, and one of his short stories is the basis for the 2007 movie The Last Mimzy. Hubbard founded the Church of Scientology. 1. Summer 1946 issue has Kuttner’s “The Dark World” and a brief interview with him. Related cover art by Earle Bergey. Vg. 2. July 1948, contains “When Shadows Fall” by Hubbard and “When the Earth Lived” by Kuttner. Vg-ex. 3. May 1951, vg+, “A” in pencil on cover. All three issues have cover art by Bergey, one of the great pin-up artists.
