Lot 2.  1888 A16 Allen & Ginter World’s Champions Album Page with John L. Sullivan, along with three other pugilists: Charlie Mitchell, Jack McAuliffe and Jimmy Carney. The album is based on the N28 cards. Some staining near the bottom and top, two small creases visible only on the back near the lower right corner and a tiny bit of paper loss on Sullivan’s left arm. Vg to vg-ex with a tremendous appearance.

Lot 240.  1960 U.S. Olympic Book Including Cassius Clay (Ali). Beautifully bound in gold, this oversized hardback book is near-pristine in 408 pages, ex-m+. Cassius Clay, listed for his Light Heavyweight Olympic Gold Medal, is pictured twice. Other stars shown are Rafer Johnson, Jerry West, Oscar Robertson and Wilma Rudolph.

Lot 242.  1910 E75 John L. Sullivan, 2 1910 T220 Prizefighters. The American Caramel Prize Fighter Caramels card of Sullivan is g. The T220 cards are of Edwards, g+ to vg, and the Fight Between Jeffries and Sharkey, vg. All but Edwards are in the HoF.

Lot 243.  1910-11 T9 Turkey Red Cabinet Card of #73 Boxer Al Kaufman. A pin hole in each corner is difficult to spot amid the brown woodgrain border. The lower right corner has two light creases. The image of Kaufman is crisp and clear, free of creases. Without the pin holes, the card would grade vg-ex. Jack Johnson defeated Kaufman.

Lot 250.  Jack Dempsey Autograph on a Postcard. On a PC from his New York restaurant, he wrote “Good Luck Pal, Jack Dempsey.” The signature is a 10 over his image. Someone drew a moustache and goatee on Dempsey, and there is writing in the lower right corner and on the back. The autograph is strong and would make a nice cut signature. Authenticated by Kevin Keating.

Lot 251.  Autographed Leonard vs. Hearns “The Showdown” Program! Leonard defeated Hearns with a TKO in the 14th. The program is unscored and ex. Inside, Sugar Ray Leonard and Tommy Hearns signed full-page color photos that are about 9 ½” x 11 ½”. Their signatures are large, gem mint 10s. Authenticated by Kevin Keating.

Lot 252.  Rare Nat Fleischer Biography of Jack McAuliffe: The Napoleon of the Prize Ring. In this 1944 80-page paperback, Fleischer documents the life of McAuliffe, who was lightweight champion from 1886-93. He was one of only nine boxers to go undefeated his entire career. Ex+ and nicely illustrated. Fleischer was the editor of Ring.

Lot 253.  Rare Nat Fleischer Biography of Terry McGovern. Titled Terrible Terry: The Brooklyn Terror, this 1943 biography details McGovern’s career. He held the bantamweight and featherweight titles at the turn of the century. Fleischer ranks him the greatest featherweight of all time. Vg. Fleischer was the long-time editor of Ring and is generally regarded as one of boxing’s top writers of all time
