Lot 266. 83 Different 1977-1979 Sportscaster Cards. These cards feature some of the brightest stars of many sports. Familiar names include Maravich, Seaver, Unitas, Pele, Ali, Abdul-Jabbar, Howe, DiMaggio, Jenner, Owens, Aaron, Russell, Bench, Blanda, Namath, Erving, Barry, Cowens, Henie and Hamil. The cards average ex-m.

Lot 587. 1960 Pittsburgh Pirates Tag-Ons Complete Set of 10 with Mazeroski and Clemente. Published in Pittsburgh, this sheet of stickers includes Stuart, Mazeroski, Hoak, Groat, Skinner, Virdon, Clemente, Burgess, Friend and Face. The full-color sheet of die-cut player photos is complete and unused. The photos have an adhesive back. Two original packaging folders, attractive in their own right, accompany the 10” x 15 ½” sheet, which is ex-m. Bob Friend is featured on the folders. The flap has been removed from one folder, and the flap is cut but still attached on the other. Otherwise, they are vg+ to ex and display very well.

Lot 588. Set of 6 Original 1961 Ford Pittsburgh Pirates Prints by Riger, Original Envelope. An unauthorized reprint of the 11 7/8” x 14 ¾” b&w prints was made in 1998; these are the originals. The set consists of prints by famous sports artist Robert Riger of Clemente, Friend, Groat, Hoak, Mazeroski and Law. The print of Clemente has had white-out applied along the top edge; otherwise, it is ex-m. The other prints average ex-m to nm. The original envelope, which has Groat, apparently Hank Aaron (although he wears #14 instead of 44) and an umpire on the front cover, is g-vg, and scarce.
