Lot 150. 1927 Churchman “Famous Golfers” Partial Set – 40 of 50. Early 20th century sets featuring golfers are few and far between. The 1 3/8” x 2 5/8” cards feature a photo of the golfer on the front and a brief biography on the back. This partial set grades as follows: Nm+ 4 cards, nm 5, ex-m+ 7, ex-m 10, ex+ 7, ex 4 and vg-ex 3.

Lot 151. Scarce 1950s “Cope’s Golfers” Reprint Set of 50. The original set, which was issued in 1900 by Cope Bros. & Co., is one of the most valuable (about $4,000), and highly valued British sets. The reprint is seldom seen. This colorful set with outstanding artwork grades, nm to nm-m 22 cards, vg to ex 18 cards, g to g-vg 10 cards.
