Lot 278.  1938 John Player & Sons “Tennis” Complete set of 50 in Original Album. All of the cards are pasted neatly into the “Tennis” album in their designated places. Two of the featured players include: Fred Perry and Don Budge. On each card a player demonstrates a tennis technique. Below each card a proper execution of the illustrated technique is explained in the album. Cards display as ex-m overall. The album is vg-ex. Winning Bid $68.

Lot 279.  1928 Player & Sons “Lawn Tennis” Card of Jean Robert Borotra. The singles champion at Wimbledon in 1924 and 1926, Borotra dominated tennis in the late 1920s and early 1930s. The Frenchman was a fan favorite. Vg. Winning Bid $5.
