In the seventh round of their Sept. 22 battle for the heavyweight championship at Soldier Field in Chicago, Jack Dempsey put Gene Tunney onto the canvas. The holder of the ticket for Section 37, Row 9, Seat 9, however, never showed up. The ticket cost $25, a considerable sum in 1927.
