 Lot 110. 2 Terrific Vintage Photos Featuring Adrian “Cap” Anson. An 8” x 10” black and white photo, circa 1906, shows Anson in suit and tie. This photo by “DeHaven” is g-vg. The image of Anson exhibits excellent contrast and focus, and it is unaffected by a ¾” x ½” piece missing along the right border. The second photo is on an 11” x 7” book plate showing the Chicago White Sox, circa 1880s. A black fountain pen notation, “Adrian C. Anson and his Colts,” appears along the bottom border. This photo has an interesting Victorian background. Vg with a corner chip that does not affect the image, and tape remnants on the blank back.
