There are mulitples of Jordan, Jabbar, Bird, Johnson, Ewing, Malone, Drexler, Pippen, Barkley and more. Also: 1971-72 Topps cards, including Rebounds Leaders with Chamberlain and Alcindor, and an ex-m card of Walt Frazier. These cards average nm.

Lot 525. 17” x 23” “All Hail Julius” Poster Signed by Dr. J, Julius Erving. The poster displays well with various scuffs and creases. The personalized signature in silver is a large, bold 10. Erving was a pioneer in taking basketball above the rim. Named to the NBA’s 50th Anniversary All-Time team, he was elected to the Basketball Hall of Fame in 1993. Authenticated by Kevin Keating.

Lot 536. Superb Signature of Dean Smith on the Cover of a Sports Illustrated Full 1993 Issue. The former North Carolina coach is a certain future member of the Basketball Hall of Fame. On the cover of a special SI issues that shows him cutting down a net, Smith placed a very strong sharpie 10 autograph. The news stand copy, especially desirable because it does not have a mailing label, is nm-m. Outstanding! Authenticated by Kevin Keating.

Lot 537. 3 Sports Illustrated Full Issues Signed by Ralph Sampson, Virginia and NBA Star. Sampson was one the best players in the history of college basketball. He won the Naismith Award as the nation’s best college basketball player three times. Only Bill Walton and Cheryl Miller have equaled that achievement. For the 1983-84 season, he was the NBA’s Rookie of the Year. Knee injuries cut short his pro career. Sampson appeared on the cover of SI an unprecedented six times in less than four years. Here are three of those issues, including the first and the last. 1. Dec. 17, 1979, vg-ex complete issue, sharpie 10 autograph. 2. March 30, 1981, ex issue, sharpie 10 signature. 3.
