Lot 512.  9 Photos of Washington Redskins Including Graham, Mitchell, Theismann. These vintage photos are black & white and 8” x 10” unless noted. Six are from the 1960s and picture Otto Graham and his coaching staff, Bobby Mitchell (2 different), Sonny Jurgensen, Chris Hanburger and Pat Fischer. Technically, the first three are g-vg and display as vg or vg-ex. A long tear and a short tear in the Jurgensen photo have been repaired on the back with tape. The Hanburger and Fischer photos are vg-ex and look better. The Hanburger photo is early and provides an interesting contrast to later photos of him. Joe Theismann appears in two different photos, an 8” x 10” (vg+) and a 5” x 7” (ex). Also included is a 5” x 7” (vg+ to ex) of Tony Peters. Except for Graham and Peters, these players are all among the Redskins’ top 70 all-time performers.

Lot 513.  1986 Washington Redskins Yearbook Autographed by 30+ Players. This hardback version of the yearbook is nm with a vg dust jacket. Broadcasters George Michael (“The Sports Machine”) and Jim Berry of ABC signed on the inside of the front end-page. Their signatures are 10 of 10. Bobby Beathard and Jay Schroeder signed by their pictures. They others signed on two facing pages. They include Darrell Green, George Starke, Doug Williams, Mark Rypien, Mark May, Joe Jacoby, Kelvin Bryant, Richie Petitbon, Ed Simmons, Darryl Grant, Clint Didier, Gary Clark, Robby Scott, Ted Karras Jr., Derek Holloway, Al Jenkins, Jimmy Smith, Rich Milot, Clarence Vaughn, Don Warren, Neal Olkewicz, R. C. Thielemann, Ted Romney, Jess Atkinson, Timmy Smith, Joe Bugel, Steve Cox, Rickey Jemison and possibly Russ Grimm and Ali Haji-Sheikh. The signatures are generally 9s and 10s. Lot 514.  Photo of the 1996 Washington Redskins Autographed by 8 Players. Color photo, which is matted and framed to 12 ½” x 15 ½”, shows the team in front of the Jefferson Memorial. Nm. Sharpie autographs of Gus Frerotte, Eric Sutton, Leomont Evans, Patrise Alexander, Andre Johnson, Tre Johnson, Bill Brooks and Rich Owens are 10s. Authenticated by Kevin Keating.

Lot 515.  Washington Redskins 1987 Media Guide Autographed by Gibbs, Monk, 12 Others. Head Coach Joe Gibbs and Assistant Head Coach Joe Bugel signed by their photos in the guide. So did five veterans - Art Monk, Gary Clark, Markus Koch, Dexter Manley and Brian Davis. Seven first-year players autographed the title page - Ed Simmons, Darrick Brilz, Chris Spachman, Ted Romney, Mark Carlson, Albert Reese, Norries Wilson. The autographs are 10 of 10. Lot 516.  Washington Redskins Autographs - Taylor, Jurgensen, Redskinettes, Etc. Signatures of two Hall of Fame Redskins are included – Charley Taylor a 7” x 9” team-issued color picture, and Sonny Jurgensen on a 3 ½” x 6” sheet of unlined paper. The picture of Taylor has tape along the edges; his signature is 9 of 10. The Jurgensen signature rates a 10. Autographs of Rusty Tillman, Tom Roussel, Bob Brunet and Harold McLinton and others are on the cover of a 1970 ‘Skins vs. Eagles program; ex program with signatures grading 8-10. Personalized signatures, both 10s, of Neal Olkewicz and Tillman are on 8” x 10” b&w photos. Ken Harvey autographed a Redskins cap with a 10 signature. Dollar bills are the medium for five signatures; Bobby Beathard and members of his staff, Bob Winkler, Bob Laufenberg and Joe Bugel are on one; Ron McDole is the sole signer of the other dollar. The signatures are 9s and 10s. Stan Humphries signed a 1990 Pro Set card; 9-10 autograph. Seven Hogettes signed a 1988 publication. The first-name autographs of 10 Redskins cheerleaders, the Redskinettes, are on a 8 ½” x 11” picture. Finally, a 1998-99 calendar features 24 signatures by Redskinettes. These autographs are 10s. Lot 517.  Washington Redskins Ticket Stubs, Schedules, Cloth Logo Patches. Three of the 23 stubs are for Redskins games against the Baltimore Colts – 1950, 1965 and 1967. The 1950 stub, for a game in Baltimore, is free of creases and ex-m. The two others are ex. The remaining stubs are for 1983-2003 home games, including the 1984 NFC Championship game. The breakdown (no duplicates): 1983 (2), 1984, 1986 (2), 1987, 1989 (2), 1990, 1991, 1992 (2), 1993 (2), 1994, 1995, 2002, 2003 (2), 2004. These stubs average vg-ex, with many better and a few less. The 1983-87 stubs were torn irregularly. There also is a “Redskin Player Guest Card” and a stub for the 1952 C.I.A.A. Football Classic at Griffith Stadium. Accompanying the tickets are 50 different schedules from the 1980s-90s. Player pocket schedules for 1981-83, 1986, 1987, 1990, 1992 and 1994 picture, respectively, Terry Hermeling, Mike Nelms, Rich Milot, Len Hauss, Clint Didier, Art Monk, Charles Mann and Bobby Wilson. A 1973 schedule is on a “coin” issued by a bank. The schedules average ex-m. Five different cloth logo patches range from 2” to 3” in diameter. One is from the 1970s. Ex-m.

Lot 518.  Redskins Super Bowl Bears, Huddle Doll, Other Figures and Items. Two bears, one 11” and the other 12”, wear Washington garb with the Super Bowl XXII logo. Mint. They are accompanied by a 2” magnet bear, ex-m, an 8” Huddle Doll, ex, and a Whomp-It “Team Booster,” mint in the original package. Players are represented by a 1977 Pro Sports 7” Joe Theismann doll, vg, a 1:55 scale “Howler” with a 2002 Fleer card of Stephen Davis and a 2000 Starting Lineup figure of Champ Bailey, both mint in their original packages. This collection comes also with a 45” x 45” tablecloth or wall hanging featuring a Redskins helmet and an unopened vinyl poncho with the Redskins’ logo.

Lot 519.  USFL Washington Federals 1983 Media Guide, Tickets, “We’re #1” Fan Hand. The United States Football League survived three seasons, and the Federals played in D.C. in 1983 and 1984 before moving to Orlando. The 1983 media guide is ex+. The tickets, both complete, are for 1984 games against the Memphis Showboats and New Jersey Generals. Ex-m to nm. The fan hand, about 10” x 23”, is nm.
