Lot 544.  Champions of Golf: The Masters Collection. Issued by Grand Slam Ventures, this beautifully bound set features a card and facsimile autograph of each Masters Tournament winner from 1934 through 1993. The format dedicates a full page to each winner, including his card, facsimile autograph and summary of the tournament. This volume comes in its origi nal box accompanied by a card with Reg. No. 9-00953-1. Nm-m.

Lot 545.  Classic Books on Golf by Bobby Jones, Byron Nelson + St. Andrews Memorabilia. Robert Tyre Jones’ book, Bobby Jones on Golf, is a 1966 first edition, ex-m book, vg+ to ex dj. Nelson’s book is Winning Golf, 1946 first, vg book, no dj. With the books are two tickets and two pocket maps from the 2000 British Open at St. Andrews, where Jones won the event in 1927. One g ticket, one vg+. Also, nine train tickets to the event and a Dunlop DDH St. Andrews golf ball. Additionally, two Sports Illustrated, one from 9/12/60 with Jack Nicklaus on the cover (f-g) and another from 8/3/64 with Betsy Rawls (vg). Nicklaus won the Open at St. Andrews in 1970 and 1978. Also, official pairings and starting times from the 1999 PGA Championship in Medinah, Ill., (g-vg), the 1999 Phoenix Open (g-vg) and a 1981 Donruss Ray Floyd card (ex).

Lot 546.  Golf Book – Gene Sarazen’s Common Sense Golf Tips. This 104-page hardbound first edition book was published in 1924 by the Thos. E. Wilson & Co. Vg with two small holes along the spine; no dust jacket, apparently as issued. The book is illustrated with photos of Sarazen, who is among the select group of golfers who won the U.S. Open, the PGA Championship, the British Open and the Masters. He later served as an honorary starter at the Masters and as a commentator on the “Wonderful World of Golf.”

Lot 547.  Autographs of Golfers Larry Nelson and Rik Massengale. Each signed one side of the 6” x 10” paper pennant in black sharpie. Each signature is large and rates a 10 of 10. Nelson, who won the PGA Championship in 1983 and 1987 and the U.S. Open in 1983, narrowly missed being elected to the World Golf Hall of Fame last year and is a candidate again this year. Massengale played on the PGA tour from 1970 to 1982. Authenticated by Kevin Keating.
