The older Cardinals pennant, from the late-1930s to 1940s, is 2 ¼” x 5 ¼” with a cardinal perched on a bat and “Cardinals” to the right. Vg. An early 1950s pennant, 1 5/8” x about 4”, in nm.

Lot 240. Life Magazine with 1962 Post Cereal Cards of Mickey Mantle, Roger Maris. Yes, this issue is comparatively common. What makes this copy special is that it is the best we have ever handled. It has a few stress creases along the spine and a minor scuff at the bottom. Otherwise, it is a very strong copy, and the card panels inside are mint. Liz Taylor and Richard Burton are on the cover.
