Lot 483.  1977 Texas Media Guide Signed by Hall of Fame Running Back Earl Campbell. The cover of the media guide presents Campbell as a “Heisman Trophy Candidate.” At the end of the season, Campbell captured the award with more points than the top three other contenders combined. As a pro, he was a battering-ram for the Houston Oilers. He was elected to the Pro Hall of Fame in 1991, and also is in the College Hall of Fame. Vg+ media guide with a 10 sharpie autograph. Lot 484.  After a College Hall of Fame career in Tempe, Haynes became one of the NFL’s premier defensive backs. His performance with the Patriots and Raiders led to enshrinement at Canton in 1997. His picture is on the cover of the vg football media guide, and so is his huge, bold sharpie 10 signature. He added, “HOF ’97.” Excellent item for Sun Devils or pro HoF collectors. Lot 485.  Nov. 30, 1959 Time Signed by Giants, Redskins Hall of Fame Linebacker Sam Huff. Cover only, vg+, with a bold 10 autograph by the prototypical middle linebacker. Authenticated by Kevin Keating.

Lot 486.  Jim Kelly Autograph on an 8” x 10” Color Photo on a 10 ½” x 13” Plaque. The plaque is nm, and the signature is a sharpie 10. The Hall of Fame quarterback recently offered his signature at a show for $80. Authenticated by Kevin Keating.

Lot 487.  Nov. 9, 1953 Time Signed by Johnny Lattner, Notre Dame Heisman Trophy Winner. Vg cover only with a small stain in the upper left. Lattner’s autograph is a sharpie 10. After Notre Dame, Lattner had a brief pro career with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He is in the College Hall of Fame. Authenticated by Kevin Keating.

Lot 490.  8” x 10” B&W Photo of the 1948 Philadelphia Eagles Signed by Steve Van Buren. In 1947, Van Buren became only the second NFL ball carrier to rush for 1,000 yards. Leading the league in rushing and touchdowns in 1948 and 1949, he also helped to lead the Eagles to consecutive NFL championships. He was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1965. His signature on the vg-ex photo is a 10. The photo also contains a number of facsimile autographs. Authenticated by Kevin Keating.

Lot 491.  1950 Advertisement Autographed by Doak Walker. After he won the Heisman Trophy at SMU in 1948, Walker had an NFL Hall of Fame career as a running back for the Detroit Lions. He died in 1998 from injuries sustained in a skiing accident. The 3” x 13 ½” ad promotes a line of belts. Walker’s sharpie signature at the top is a bold 10. He also is in the College Hall of Fame. Lot 492.  Six 8” x 10” Color Photos Autographed by Miami Dolphins. Four players were members of the 1994 team – Keith Byars, Irving Fryar (personalized), Bernie Kosar and Pete Stoyanovich. The two others, Mark Clayton and Mark Duper, both concluded their Miami careers in 1992. The signatures are sharpie 10s, and the photos are framed. Duper signed as “Super Duper.”

Lot 495.  Autographs of Art Rooney, Joe Kuharich and Doug Flutie. Rooney (died 1988) signed a 1982 baseball All-Star ballot distributed to the public. His signature over names on the ballot displays as a 9-10. The “Chief,” the Pittsburgh Steelers’ longtime owner, was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1964. Kuharich (died 1981) signed a 1952 Bowman small card. He played for the Chicago Cardinals, and then coached them, the Redskins and the Eagles. His personalized autograph is a 9-10. Flutie’s personalized autograph is on a 9” x 12” Boston Globe poster that pictures him as the 1984 Heisman Trophy winner. The autograph is a 10. Authenticated by Kevin Keating.
