Lot 125. Circa 1930s Ceramic & Leather Cigarette Holder Featuring a Basketball. What an exceptional collectible! This 6 ½” container holds up to 16 cigarettes in a vertical position. Lift the lid, and the cigarettes, held in place by metal clasps, rise from inside. The container is ceramic covered in leather. A basketball with laces adorns the front. Equally interesting, the handle on top appears to be constructed from Bakelite. Fantastic!

Lot 126. Book with Jordan, Worthy Marking North Carolina’s 1982 NCAA Championship. Titled North Carolina National Championship 1982, this 160-page commemorative book features blue leatherette covers with gold lettering. Inside are photos of Michael Jordan, James Worthy, Sam Perkins, Coach Dean Smith and other team members. A freshman, Jordan led the team in scoring. In a dramatic scene, he also scored the winning basket against Georgetown, with Patrick Ewing, in the championship game.
