Lot 812.  Eugene Ormandy, Helen Hayes Autographs. One of the great conductors, Ormandy signed a Philadelphia Orchestra program from the 1975-76 season. Large, bold signature, about 2” x 5” and perfect for matting and framing, rates a 10. Ormandy died in 1985. Hayes signed the back of a 1978 “Playbill” program for a tribute to her by the Asthma & Allergy Foundation of America. The signature is a 9. Known as the “First Lady of the American Theatre,” Hayes died in 1993.

Lot 813.  Bodybuilder 8” x 10” Photo Signed by Arnold Schwarzenegger. B&W framed photo signed in sharpie by the future Terminator and governor. Nm photo, 10 signature.

Lot 814.  Autographs of 3 Wonder Women - Radner, Sills and Whitworth. Opera singer Beverly Sills signed an 8” x 10” color photo and the end page of her book, “Bubbles: A Self Portrait.” Both signatures in sharpie are 10s. The signature of Gilda Radner, the “Saturday Night Live” comic who died in 1989, is on the back of the “SNL” record album. Sharpie 10. Hall of Fame golfer Kathy Whitworth signed the title page of her book, “Golf for Women.” Sharpie 10. Just for good measure, a copy of the comic “Wonder Woman,” No. 114, comes with this collection.

Lot 815.  Holy Batman! It’s the Lady Duke of Hazzard! And Ward and West! Huh? What we have here are autographs of three of Hollywood’s many interesting television characters. First, signatures of Adam West, signed “A. West,” and Burt Ward on an 8” x 10” color photo with the Dynamic Duo as Batman and Robin. Sharpie 10 signatures. Ward added “Robin.’” Second, an 8” x 10” black and white photo signed by Catherine Bach, pictured as Daisy Duke of Hazzard County. Sharpie 10 signature.

Lot 816.  “Wizard of Oz” Photograph Autographed by Mickey Carroll, Munchkin. Carroll played the character who led the Munchkin parade in the 1939 MGM movie starring Judy Garland. He also advised Dorothy to “Follow the Yellow Brick Road.” Carroll was born in 1919. His sharpie signature - “Munchkin Love, Mickey Carroll, 1939” - is on a photo that shows the “Oz” cast. Ex-m photo with a 10 signature.

Lot 817.  Autographs of Joe Williams, Johnny Mathis, Merle Haggard in holiday cards. Williams’ signature is a 10 in black sharpie in a card from him and his wife. This outstanding jazz vocalist passed away in 1999. Mathis’ card features a 3 ½” plastic disc with a silhouette of the pop singer that creates the illusion of a tree ornament. His sharpie signature is a 10. Haggard, a country music legend, signed a Haggard family card “Merle.” The signature in blue ballpoint is a 10.

Lot 818.  1991 High School Program Autographed by Rick Santorum, U.S. Senator from Pa. Ballpoint 10 signature. At the end of this year, will he be an ex-Senator, a future Presidential or Vice-Presidential candidate - or all three? Or another DC lobbyist? Place your bets.

Lot 819.  1913 Issue of St. Nicholas with a Color Illustration by Arthur Rackham. One of the greatest illustrators of all time, Rackham provided a full color illustration and black & white silhouette for the Mother Goose nursery rhyme “As I Was Going to St. Ives.” The color illustration is about 5 ½” x 7” and is free of creases. The magazine cover is detached and vg. The contents are ex.

Lot 820.  Wonderful Turn-of-the-Century Sepia Photo of Farmers, Horse-Drawn Wagon, apparently in Sumner Hill, ME. The photo, about 6” x 8” on a 9 ½” x 12” trimmed mount, shows two farmers, a boy, two horses, a dog, farm equipment and a house and barn. It has a small edge chip and multiple light creases. The mount has a chip out of the upper left corner. The photo is sharply focused with good contrast.

Lot 821.  Have It All - with Bogey and Bacall. And Bogey. A framed 8” x 10” photo of Humphrey Bogart and two drawings make up this collection.  Bogart wears a tuxedo in the portrait photo.  A nicely detailed original charcoal and pencil drawing portrays a conversation among Bogart, Lauren Bacall and Cary Grant.  Bogart holds a matchbook for “Oscars.”  The 13 ½” x 14 ½” artwork by Jamie Shirley is matted and framed without glass.  A print features multiple sketches of Bogart in key roles - as Charlie Allnut  in “The African Queen,” Fred C. Dobbs in “Treasure of the Sierra Madre,” Rick Blaine in “Casablanca” and Phillip Marlowe in “The Big Sleep.”  Artwork is 17 ½” x 23 ½” in an 18” x 24” frame.  Minor stain in the lower right, which could be matted out.  The photo and original drawing are nm.

Lot 822.  1969 Washington Post Printing Plate Commemorating the First Lunar Landing. This commemorative plate, 13 ¼” x 24 ¼”, reproduces in turquoise on gray the front page of the July 21 Post. All of the articles and photos deal with the exploits of Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin on the moon’s surface on July 20. Nm-m.

Lot 823.  Rare Elgin Record Paying Tribute President Kennedy + Other Presidential Items. Titled “Lead the Way JFK,” this 45 rpm record was released, apparently at the end of 1963, by Elgin Records of Hamden, Conn.  It features the Angelic Choir directed by Rev. L. Roberts.  Elgin Records folded by the mid-1960s.  Nm-m.  Accompanying the record are a holiday card from President and Mrs. Carter and an invitation to the 1993 inauguration of President Clinton.  Both items are nm.

Lot 826.  Two Wonderful Vintage Mickey Mouse Items. 1. Early 1960s “Mickey Mouse Elegant Miniatures Stutz Bearcat” in the original box from Walt Disney Productions. Colorful box pictures Mickey seated in his Stutz Bearcat. Both the box and the car are in pristine condition. 2. Mickey Mouse transistor radio, which doesn’t work. The knob of the radio moves Mickey’s arm up and down to find the desired station.
