Lot 944. Autographs of Golfers Larry Nelson and Rik Massengale on a paper pennant. Each has signed one side of the 6” x 10” pennant in black sharpie. Each signature is large and rates a 10 of 10. Known for his picture-perfect swing, Nelson won the PGA Championship in 1983 and 1987 and the U.S. Open in 1983. He also played on three Ryder Cup teams (1979, 1981, and 1987) and served as a Player Director of the PGA Tour Policy Board. He narrowly missed being elected to the World Golf Hall of Fame last year and is a candidate again this year. Massengale played on the PGA tour from 1970 to 1982.
