Lot 941.  1981 Donruss Pro Golf Stars Set of 66 with a Wrapper. Includes two cards of Jack Nicklaus. The cards are pack-fresh with razor-sharp corners. Centering limits the grade of the set to nm. The wrapper has the usual folds and otherwise is free of defects.

Lot 943.  Autographs of Phil Michelson, Jim Furyk + Memorabilia Related to Arnold Palmer. Key to this varied collection is a brochure from the 2005 Championship at Doral with signatures of Michelson, Furyk, K. J. Choi, Scott Hoch and Brett Quigley.  The signatures are 9-10 of 10.  2. Lot 944.  Autographs of Golfers Larry Nelson and Rik Massengale on a paper pennant. Each has signed one side of the 6” x 10” pennant in black sharpie. Each signature is large and rates a 10 of 10. Known for his picture-perfect swing, Nelson won the PGA Championship in 1983 and 1987 and the U.S. Open in 1983. He also played on three Ryder Cup teams (1979, 1981, and 1987) and served as a Player Director of the PGA Tour Policy Board. He narrowly missed being elected to the World Golf Hall of Fame last year and is a candidate again this year. Massengale played on the PGA tour from 1970 to 1982.

Lot 946.  Programs, Ticket Stubs for the U.S. Open and Other Tennis Events. The U.S. Open programs are for: 1985, McEnroe cover, two copies, both nm+. 1988 ex-m. 1989 ex-m+. 1990 ex-m+. And 1992, two copies, both nm+. Some copies have the daily event or “Draw” sheet. U.S. Open ticket stubs are for 1982 (3), 1983 (3), 1984, 1985, 1987 (2), 1988, 1989 (2) and 1990 (2). Many of the stubs of for courtside box seats costing as much as $1,000. All but one of the stubs from 1982, two from 1989 and one from 1990 are torn irregularly. There also are two nice stubs for the 1993 Bausch & Lomb Championships in Florida. Other programs are for the 1977 Virginia Slims in Philadelphia, vg-ex, and the Fireman’s Fund International in San Francisco, ex-m. Lot 947.  1980s-90s U.S. Open and Other Golf Programs and Tickets. This collection includes catalog-sized programs for the 1981 U.S. Open at Merion Golf Club (ex) and the 1984 event at Winged Foot Golf Club (two copies, one ex-m+, one nm), Accompanying the 1984 programs are two copies each of a brochure containing the pairings for Sunday’s round and the “Official Course Map and Guide.” There also are two ticket stubs for Sunday (ex-m+) and a coupon. For 1986, the collection has “The Official Magazine of the Championship,” which is nm, at ticket (vg-ex), the pairings for Thursday and Friday and the course map. Offered for 1994 and 1997 are the “Official Magazine” for the Open. Both nm. Four tickets (one vg, two vg+ to ex, one ex) accompany the 1997 program, along with the pairings and the course map. There are supplements to the Golf Journal for 1999-2002; ex-m to nm. For 2003-2005, “The Official Publication of the U.S. Open Championship.” Nm.
