Lot 649. Dec. 1955 Issue of Sport Signed Twice by Hugh McElhenny. A Hall of Fame enshrinee, McElhenny starred for the San Francisco Forty-Niners in one of the greatest backfields ever - with Y.A. Tittle, Joe Perry and John Henry Johnson. G-vg issue with another name in pencil. McElhenny placed a large, bold sharpie 10 signature on the cover. He also signed over his image on page 29. Lot 652. Grambling Program Signed Twice by Football’s Winningest Coach - Eddie Robinson. Bryant, Paterno and Bowden may be more widely recognized, but none won as many games as Robinson, who coached Grambling State University of Louisiana for 55 years. Robinson’s teams won 408 games and posted a 408-165-15 record. Program is ex. Robinson signed it twice, on the cover and on a portrait inside. Lot 659. 8” x 10” Photos Signed by Dallas’ Harvey Martin, Robert Newhouse, Mel Renfro. Martin’s autograph is on a b&w photo that shows him with O. J. Simpson and Drew Pearson. He signed: “In Happy Days with My Friends Drew & O.J. Harvey Martin. #79 Dallas Cowboys, Co-MVP SB XII, #914/1500.” Signature and additions are 10s. Martin died of pancreatic cancer in 2001.
