Lot 542. Early 1950s Ashtray Featuring Danny Murtaugh. Round ashtray is 4 ¾” in diameter with a scalloped outer ring, a gold ring inside and a sepia picture of Murtaugh in the center. Murtaugh played second base for Pittsburgh 1948-51. Nm.

Lot 543. Vintage Autographed Photo of Joe Greene as a North Texas State U. Player. B&W 8” x 10” photo from the school is vg. Greene neatly signed it, with “My Best Regards” preceding his autograph and “N.T.S.U” following. His signature is a 10. Scarce. Authenticated by Kevin Keating.

Lot 544. 5 Pittsburgh Steelers Pennants. Two recognize 1974 and 1976 Super Bowl victories. The third commemorates four Super Bowl triumphs. A 1970s pennant features a helmet and says simply “Pittsburgh Steelers.” The fifth marks the Steelers’ 50th anniversary in 1983. All are full-sized. The 1974 pennant has some stains at the left and along the top edge at the right. The others range from vg-ex to nm.

Lot 545. 1997 Poster of Jerome Bettis, the “Bus,” and His “Driver,” Tim Lester. In 1996 and 1997, Lester was the blocking back who helped Bettis to rush for more than 3,000 yards. The 18” x 14” poster shows the tandem “On the Way to San Diego.” The trip started and ended in Pittsburgh, however, as Denver won the AFC Championship game. The poster, not commonly seen, is rolled, has some light creases and displays as ex+.

Lot 546. 15 Sports Illustrated Including 13 with Pittsburgh Steelers Covers and two connected to Pittsburgh. Steelers on the covers are 1976: Swann; Bleier and Sam Davis. 1977: Glen Edwards. 1978: Bradshaw. 1979: 4 different, Bradshaw, Bleier, Franco Harris, and Bradshaw with Willie Stargell. 1980: Greenwood (2 different), Stallworth. 1982: Franco. 1984: Lambert. Also, Tony Dorsett and Matt Cavanaugh, 1977, and Phil Garner, 1979. The issues average ex with some vg+ and some ex-m.
